      Eilidh Baker

      Eilidh works here at James Ellis personalising all of your orders, and she has also created some beautiful designs for our notebook range. Her illustrations are crafted by hand using a variety of techniques, from drawing with brush pen and ink to lino printing, before being assembled and coloured digitally.

       

      Steph Baxter

      Steph is a freelance illustrator, Hand Letterer and consultant currently based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. She works both traditionally with pen, paper & ink, as well as digitally, and has created some wonderful typographic illustrations for us.

       

      Duncan Beedie

      Duncan works just down the road from us in Bristol, and has illustrated some fantastic monsters and dinosaurs for us. He's also an experienced animator and has worked on numerous projects for TV and web. He likes to get out and about with his dog Ivor, and attempts to be an exemplary Dad to his daughter.

       

      Louise Cunningham

      Louise is an illustrator and surface pattern designer. She has over 10 years experience producing images for the greeting card market, surface patterns for both stationery and textiles, packaging, editorials and a series of colouring books.

       

      Alice Evans

      Alice works here at James Ellis and also illustrates some of our products. Her illustrations are created digitally but use scans of painted and textured paper. She likes colour, paper, books and tea.

       

      Julie Fletcher

      Julie has been illustrating cards and children's books since graduating from art college in Dundee. She uses acrylic paints, coloured pencils and collage in her illustrations, which are lovingly created in her slightly chilly Edinburgh studio.

       

      Katherine Hartley

      Katherine graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2004 and since then has built up a wealth of creative experience in the stationery industry. We love her colourful illustrative style.

       

      Klara Hawkins

      Klara was born in the North West of England in a very pretty, hilly and wet rural area. She now lives with her husband and daughter in Surrey and most days can be found at her desk happily drawing pictures.

       

      Kate Mainard

      Kate Maynard is a designer and illustrator based in Leicester. She graduated from De Montford University in 2009 and is now an experienced greetings card designer. She has created some beautiful, fun and colourful images for our paper shakes range.

       

      Max Ososki

      Max Ososki is based in Bristol and has been working with us since we moved here 12 years ago. Her illustrations are created in photoshop using vintage materials collected from all over the world.

       

      Claire Shorrock

      Claire graduated from the illustration course at UWE in 2011 and lives here in Bristol. As well as working with publishers like us she also illustrates children's books. 

       

      Hannah Tolston

      Hannah is a freelance illustrator currently based in Stockport, Manchester. She studied at Leeds College of Art and Falmouth University and since graduating in 2013 she has worked with a variety of publishers worldwide.

       

      Linda Tordoff

      Linda creates whimsical, painterly illustrations and surface pattern designs using a combination of collage, painting, papercutting, drawing and photoshop.

       

      Ekaterina Truckhan

      Originally from Russia, Ekaterina has lived and worked in London since her graduation from Camberwell College of Arts. She draws her inspiration from everyday life, mid-century illustration and the books she had when she was a child.

       

      Nicola Watson

      Nicola works from her studio in her home in Manchester, creating colourful illustrations using a mix of painting, drawing and collage. When she's not painting you'll find her with a camera in hand, on the hunt for vintage finds or at a gig or festival.
